Sexy Car Parts

Because they are all chrome and sleek, car parts sometimes attract people and remind them of sexual fantasies. This is just a way of connecting sex to speed. It is ejaculatory…and a very effective selling strategy.

Thomas Pynchon always understood the connection between gear shifters and sex, between rockets (especially those of the Bomarc persuasion) and the erection. Pynchon includes, in at least three of his artful novels, a direct connection between sexual activity and propulsion.

At Äutøshöw we like the efficacy of these connections, we like the power of market manipulation as it coerces and feeds the romantic, even the nostalgic. Here are the first of our favourite sexy car parts.  These must soon be replaced by more appropriate images and more concise discussions.

It is the lacing of the leather and the anticipation of the grip that marks this attractive car part. Not the mother-of-pearl (i.e. plastic) gear shifter knob nearby and the leather skirt that hides its nether regions.
Another web grab, but it is the essentially anime (manga) quality about this piece of metal that really entices. Now where do we attach it…that is the question?
